Showing 5 results for Sensitivity Analysis
Feizollahi, Modarres Yazdi, Volume 3, Issue 2 (9-2012)
Abstract
We consider a generalization of the
classical quadratic assignment problem, where coordinates of locations are uncertain
and only upper and lower bounds are known for each coordinate. We develop a
mixed integer linear programming model as a robust counterpart of the proposed
uncertain model. A key challenge is that, since the uncertain model involves
nonlinear objective function of the uncertain data, classical robust
optimization approaches cannot be applied directly to construct its robust
counterpart. We exploit the problem structure to develop exact solution methods
and present some computational results.

Abstract
Here, we examine the capability of artificial neural networks (ANNs) in sensitivity analysis of the parameters of efficiency analysis model, namely data envelopment analysis (DEA). We are mainly interested to observe the required change of a group of parameters when another group goes under a managerial change, maintaining the score of the efficiency. In other words, this methodology provides a platform for simulating the level of some parameters against the remaining parameters for generating different scenarios, as being in demand for managers.

Abstract
Most of data in a multi attribute decision making (MADM) problem are unstable and changeable, and thus sensitivity analysis can effectively contribute to making proper decisions. Here, we offer a new method for sensitivity analysis of multi-attribute decision making problems so that by changing one element of decision making matrix, we can determine changes in the results of a decision making problem. An analysis is made for simple additive weighting method (SAW) technique, a mostly used multi-attribute decision making techniques, and the corresponding formulas are obtained.

Abstract
We are concerned with solving Fuzzy Flexible Linear Programming (FFLP) problems. Even though, this model is very practical and is useful for many applications, but there are only a few methods for its situation. In most approaches proposed in the literature, the solution process needs at least, two phases where each phase needs to solve a linear programming problem. Here, we propose a method to solve the given problem in just one phase using only one problem. Furthermore, using our approach, sensitivity analysis of Fuzzy Flexible Linear Programming (FFLP) problem is simpler. For an illustration of our method, some numerical examples given. In particular, a practical problem is formulated and is solved by our method and several other methods and the obtained results are compared.

Abstract
Capacitated vehicle routing problem (CVRP) is one of the most well-known and applicable issues in the field of transportation. It has been proved to be an NP-Complete problem. To this end, it is needed to develop a high-performance algorithm to solve the problem, particularly in large scales. This paper develops a novel mathematical model for the CVRP considering the satisfaction level of demand nodes. Then, the proposed model is validated using a numerical example and sensitivity analyses that are implemented by CPLEX solver/GAMS software. To solve the problem efficiently, a Genetic Algorithm (GA) is designed and implemented. The obtained results demonstrate that the proposed GA can yield high-quality solutions compared to exact solutions.
